About

The five-day event starts with the REFRACT project Kick-off Meeting followed by a Tandem Repeat Proteins (TRP) Symposium and TRP Hackathon, jointly co-organized by REFRACT and NGP-net.

REFRACT Kick-off Meeting

A day and a half meeting for project members

TRP Symposium

One day symposium on latest progress in the field of tandem repeat proteins

TRP Hackathon

This two-day workshop will bring together around 20 experts on protein tandem repeat detection. The meeting will serve to exchange ideas on diverse methodologies, apply them to selected examples, refine classification schemes and enhance repeat annotation. The discussions during the meeting will lead to one or two collaborative publications dealing with the detection of tandem repeats, including the comparison of methods for detection, integration of results in databases and guidelines for tandem repeat detection and annotation
