3rd All Hands Meeting 2022
Structured Tandem Repeat Proteins in the era of highly accurate structure prediction

Padova, Italy 5-7 October 2022

About

The REFRACT consortium is happy to invite you to the event Structured Tandem Repeat Proteins in the era of high accurate structure prediction, to be held in Padova on 5-7 October 2022.

The AlphaFold revolution led to a significant increase in the number of accurate protein structures available. Currently, the PDB contains less than 200’000 structures, obtained by different experimental techniques. Such PDB entries correspond to about 50’000 UniProt sequences. Meanwhile, AlphaFoldDB contains over 200 million protein predicted structures, covering the whole UniProt. The availability of new structural data allows not only the identification and classification of Structural Tandem Repeats in Proteins but also the discovery of new folds and functions associated with them. This event will cover the recent advances in Tandem Repeat Proteins identification, classification and functional characterization.

Hackathon

A one-day workshop open to all consortium members and invited guests.

REFRACT Supervisory Board

Closed-door meeting for REFRACT SB members to discuss internal management and science.

Structured Tandem Repeat Proteins in the era of high accurate structure prediction

A two-day symposium with a focus on tandem repeat proteins, including speeches delivered by REFRACT PIs and other invited guests. The conference features an ESRs' symposium. Open to interested public.
